Recently Jazz and I were invited to attend the Laura Ashley 'Print Like Laura' workshop at The Papered Parlour in Clapham, where we were introduced to the new Autumn/Winter collection which focused on some of Laura Ashley's older designs. This was our first event attending as a mother/daughter blogger team which was so lovely, we had such an amazing time! It was so inspiring to hear how she first started the business with her husband all those years ago, yet the company just keeps on blossoming. Later on in the evening we had a chance to do a spot of screen printing, something I haven't done since my college days, so it was lovely to try it all again and print the Laura Ashley Pelham design on a canvas tote bag. Jazz also screen printed a tote bag with her favourite design, Mr Jones, which was the perfect design for her.
The whole Laura Ashley team were so friendly and lovely, we can't wait to spend time with them all in the near future! Also, here's a little Instagram video we made showing what we got up to at the event! Barri.
